Lenovo’s IdeaPad Z370 on the outside doesn’t really appear any different than the previous IdeaPad Z360. That the excellent Lenovo keyboard design remains intact. The isolated key design provides a very comfortable and accurate experience. The trackpad is sizable and works well enough even if it does use a rocker bar design for the buttons. The overall exterior design still feels a bit plain though as the patterned design on the back lid is only visible in certain light and has a plain black plastic finish in most cases.

For an Ultrabook, the new Folio does pretty well with port selection. It has two USB ports, one of which is USB 3.0 SuperSpeed-capable. Other ports include an SD card slot, combination microphone and headphone jack, Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI video out.

The display used in the Folio is a 13.3-inch, LED-backlit model. This screen offers users a resolution of 1366×768, putting it on par with all the other thin notebooks. Viewing angles are pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary.
